Commissioned especially for an awards ceremony in the US, this third issue of Impact for D3O had a more B2C focus, with a key focus on sports and concussion risk, especially in American football.

From the very start, I worked on the creative direction and art direction for this project. From directing photo shoots and creating layouts, through to bespoke illustrations throughout the magazine.

With the main magazine being printed on a heavy silk stock, the centre eight page section of Impact which addresses the main theme each issue, is illustrated in a stylised way with its own internal cover on a recycled, uncoated stock to make it stand out from the rest of the magazine.
